Emery Boards
The first step here at GrowLongerNails.com is to get yourself a good emery board.

I'll need you to keep your nails filed. Doing so will prevent them from snagging on the things you touch such as your clothes for instance.
Oh snap, I broke a nail...
Snagging your nails too hard will cause a bend, and probably a small crack on the corner of your nail.
If you happen to bend or crack your nail, use your emery board to reshape your nail while smoothing the edge right away!! This is the key to preventing further breakage that will eventually take away from what you have grown!
Oftentimes, I get a minor breakage in least expected place. Breakage can occur anytime and anywhere.
I have a "use emery after breakage right away" policy.
Keep your Emery Boards Handy at all times!
Every woman should own at least (6) six or more Emery Boards. Its good practice to keep a board:
- Beside your bed
- In your 2 favorite purses.
- In the car.
- At your desk.
- At your friend's house.
